A modular French haircomb with a detachable necklace chain- wear it either way.
The haircomb features a delicate sculptural lily flower with a dendritic agate set in the centre. Constructed from sterling silver treated by depletion guilding, giving the piece a frosted white patina. This surface treatment is designed to fade with wear, revealing the silver beneath.
The detachable belcher chain is threaded with an Albert swivel clasp that attaches to the back of the haircomb so it can be worn as a pendant.
This is a one-off piece handmade in our Sydney studio and is ready to ship.
